Verified Reviewer |Dispute for ticket refund
I have an ongoing dispute for a ticket I sold back in July 2025, for which I never received the payment. I waited the 30-45 day period and still have not received anything—no updates, nothing!
So I reached out again and was told they'd re-escalate the dispute. Then I found out I have to wait another 30-45 days because, apparently, re-escalating a case means the original dispute is invalid.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Don’t deal with this awful company (either selling or buying)

Review:
I feel completely cheated by Viagogo. On September 7, 2025, they deducted $600 USD from my account for a Burning Man listing (#62143****) that I never sold.
Here are the facts:
I created this listing, but it disappeared from my active listings.
I thought it was a technical error and made a new one (#62133****).
Later, Viagogo's system suddenly moved this listing into the Sale section.
I never confirmed this sale, never accepted a buyer, and never even received the buyer's email or delivery details. Without this, it was impossible to transfer the ticket.
For my other listings, I made everything followed all rules: confirmed transfers, clicked Confirm transfer, and uploaded official screenshots from Burning Man's site. This proves I did my job as a seller.
This $600 charge is completely unfair and based on Viagogo's system error, not on my actions.
I have already contacted their support, but they keep saying I failed my responsibilities as a seller, which is absolutely not true.
My demands:
1. Refund of the $600 unlawfully deducted.
2.
Clear confirmation that my account has no penalties for this mistaken listing.
If this is not resolved, I will escalate to the European Consumer Centre, UK Competition and Markets Authority, and the U.S. FTC, and I will continue to warn other people not to trust Viagogo.
Please be careful: this company takes money even when you don't confirm or complete a sale.
- Unfair charge
Preferred solution: Full refund

AWFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH
Sold tickets with Viagogo but the concert was cancelled. Received an email saying I would still receive my payment as the transaction had been finalised but the payment did not go through at my end as there was an issue with my account that was swiftly rectified.
Never received my money despite numerous calls and operators confirming I would be paid until I spoke to a manager who said I would only be paid once the concert was rescheduled.
She denied an email had been sent and when I sent her a copy, she hung up the phone as she could not tell me why I had received the email confirming payment had been attempted. Still waiting and I am not permitted to cancel the transaction and get my tickets back.

Verified Reviewer |Dishonest company -- non-existent customer service
Don't sell your tickets on Viagogo:1. The technology is terrible.
The site wouldn't let me upload my perfectly valid tickets in PDF with no explanation.2. There is no customer service. No phone number to call or even chat box is evident from within the site.3. They force you as a seller to leave a credit card number so that they can issue you a fine if anything goes wrong.
They thus have no incentive to help you overcome the numerous technical glitches on their site, since once you list a ticket, they know that they can either charge you, or the buyer, or maybe even both.4. In my case, I uploaded the sales voucher for the tickets, which the site did accept. So Viagogo and the supposed buyer knew that I had the tickets. No one ever contacted me to let me know how to deliver the tickets to the buyer.5.
In desperation, I finally managed to email the tickets to Viagogo the day before the event, but they couldn't be bothered to deliver them to the buyer. And why bother, when they knew that they could make money by issuing me a fine.6.
In sum, do not ever sell a ticket on this site. Their technology is pathetic, their customer service is non-existent, and the minute that you give them your credit card number, you're setting yourself up to be scammed.
When someone supposedly bought the tickets, they fined me for selling something I didn't have. I responded by emailing the tickets to Viagogo the day before the event, but there was no response from Viagogo.
So I ended up losing money by dealing with these people. Either they are outright dishonest and charged the buyer and me, or they are just incredibly incompetent.
- Bad technology and terrible customer service

Verified Reviewer |Company cheated me out of premium tickets
I purchased premium seats and received a less valuable ticket an hour before the show—a $450 difference in their favor. I am trying to get the difference refunded to my card but am having trouble getting the refund. This is a scam practice.

AWFUL!
Sold tickets on this site but the concert was cancelled. Received an email confirming I would still be paid and they even tried to make payment but there was an issue at my end which was swiftly rectified however no payment.
Each time I called they said payment would be made until finally I was told I would only receive payment once the concert had been rescheduled and denied that I had been sent an email.
Once i sent a copy to the person, they hung up on me. Sent an email to their customer service and CEO but funnily enough did not receive a reply!

Verified ReviewerBogus company voided tickets no guarantee as advertised
I would like to let you know what happened with my tickets yesterday 05/29/25 for Hamilton that disappeared on my phone that I purchased from your website. I have sent this letter on to the Smith Center and would like compensation for all the aggravation that I had to go through.
I ordered through your company and while nobody seemed to be able to find where these tickets went, the fact that they disappeared off of your website and you told me that there's nothing you can do and I didn't have fan protection because I accepted them. Yes, I did accept them and they appeared for five minutes and then they disappeared off my phone, nothing that I did myself. So you would’ve stuck me losing $400 if I hadn't gone down there and argued with the Smith Center to let me in. They told me that you're a fraudulent company and they don't work with you and that's why they voided the tickets.
It was the most aggravating experience between you, the Smith Center, and StubHub that nobody wanted to take the blame or help me with the situation that was not my fault. I'm enclosing the letter I sent to them so you can understand it better.
I would like an explanation of why the Smith Center thinks you're a bogus company. Sincerely, Pam Parker 407-709-****
